When you clean your Titan Herb Crusher, you remove all the decomposed plant material from its surface and make it ready to use again.

In this step-by-step guide, you will learn how you can clean your Titan Crusher in 5 simple steps. Let’s start with the tools.

Tools

  • Isopropyl alcohol
  • Hot water
  • Freezer
  • Large plate or plastic cutting board
  • Container to hold the kief
  • A toothbrush or soft paintbrush
  • Toothpick, metal pick, or dab tool
  • Clean water
  • A towel

Clean Your Herb Crusher in 5 Steps:

1) Disassemble your grinder.

Start your cleaning process by disassembling your Titan Grinder and keeping all the parts in a safe container. You will have a lid, a grinding chamber, a collection chamber, and the kief chamber.

While you disassemble the grinder, ensure that you don't use too much force or a sharp object such as a nail. It can cause a hole in the screen or damage the grinder locks.

2) Put the parts in the freezer.

Keeping the parts in a freezer is not an essential step, but the following steps become pretty easier for you if you do it.

So, put all the disassembled pieces in the freezer for about 30 minutes. This freezing will harden all the sticky substances such as plant matter stuck to your crusher. Also, this step is beneficial if you want to get the very last bit of herbs from your grinder, especially from the screen between your collection chamber and kief chamber.

3) Clean every part.

Take out all the parts from the freezer, gently tap each piece on a hard surface and start the cleaning. Take your cleaning brush and clean all the surfaces where you see residue. If you come across some stubborn gunk, scrape the area with a toothpick or dab tool.

4) Soak in alcohol.

The next step of your crusher cleaning routine is submerging all the pieces in a bowl or plastic bag of isopropyl alcohol of 99% concentration for 20 minutes. This is a critical step for metal crushers like Titan Grinders as it kills all the bacteria that might be hiding in the nooks and crannies of your crusher.

Furthermore, you can gently agitate the bowl so that the stubborn plant matter can leave the crusher surface. After the given time, you will notice a light brown color of the liquid. It means that your grinder is now clean, and you can take it out.

5) Reassemble and enjoy.

Once all the pieces are out, you can use a cotton swab to remove the remaining residue and rinse the components with clean water. Thoroughly rinse all the parts, clean them with a soft cloth, and assemble them back to make your herb grinder once they are dry.

That’s it! Your Titan Crusher is ready to use and back to its original form.
